Zhang Fuye (Xining, 1955) is a visual artist and a professor of Art History at the Academy of Arts and Design at Tsinghua University, the most influential of its kind in China. Zhang is a prolific and interdisciplinary artist. He works in a range of different mediums, including calligraphy, painting, stamp carving and ceramics. The international artistic community has dubbed Zhang the Academic Artist for his elegance, innovation and ethical practice.

Zuo Jianhong (Xiangyin, 1961) is a painter and a professor at the School of Arts at Guangxi University. He is a member of the Lijiang Painting School. This artist collective uses art to search for a shared identity in an ever changing world. Zuo specialises in landscape painting, making use of his traditional Chinese art training with a fresh, daring and uninhibited style.

Weng Jianqing (Shanghai, 1957) is a professor at the Department of Art Theory at the School of Arts of Peking University. Weng has dedicated his career to researching and teaching about the history and theory of Eastern and Western art, aesthetics, the sociology and anthropology of art and public art in particular. He advocates for the union of academic theory and artistic practice, which he believes should always go hand in hand. He is a staunch supporter of the social role of the arts.
中国传统艺术、现代审美理念;富有形式美感,散发清新而浪漫的气息。
Traditional Chinese art imbued with a contemporary aesthetic understanding. The beauty of a kind of art that radiates clarity and fantasy. - Zhang Fuye

总有两个我存在,一个在行为,一个在观看.
There are always two “selves”: one of them acts and the other one watches. - Zuo Jianhong

感知内心,关注当下。
Listen to your heart and be mindful of the present.
- Weng Jianqing
