Landscapes

For Rando, nature is an inexhaustible source of artistic intensity. Only in nature can he find the seclusion and inspiration needed for his creation. Forests, mountains, flowers and animals have been a constant throughout his extensive career.

The limits between figuration and abstraction are increasingly blurred. Brushstrokes progressively lose their grip on tangible reality until they finally explode into evocative flashes of colour that take over the entire canvas.
The painter reminds us that we can and must always refer to the generous depth of nature. In it we will find the true essence of humanity, which we seem to be running from more and more each day.
Artists do not need to search for anything. They just need to look around them and transport what they see to the canvas, depicting it the way they know how. Because the grandeur of painting lies only in that, in the act of painting. Only that must elevate and satisfy the painter.
